An official told KNO that the sear operation was launched on basis of specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area. "A joint team of forces including Army’s 42 RR, special operation group of police (SOG) and CRPF cordoned off the area to nab the militants," the official told KNO. Meanwhile locals informed KNO that huge contingents of forces were deployed in the area and door to door search operation was going on in the area.(KNO).
